Art Lair Ready for Opening
Feb 13th
I think most of you know that the Art Lair now has a new home in Fountain Square. Click
here for map. We are very excited to have a permanent location. However, as with all moves there is always work that needs to be done to make the new home your own. I’d say we are all but done with the fixing up. Of course, there is the mural for the back wall and a few small things that lack completion. This will be our first week to be open, hours of operation will be posted a little later. Thanks to those who have volunteered to help man the Art Lair. I just wanted to share some pictures of the before and after. Thanks to Angel, Holly and Charlotte for the help.

Internet Killed the Video Star
Jul 20th
Alright so if you remember about 6 months ago I posted a song from The Limousines. A song called “Very Busy People.”
I molested them through words for quite a long time and now their newest single “Internet Killed the Video Star” is here and guess what? It’s just as awesome as “Very Busy People,” maybe even more so.
This band… pure win. Check this shit out. Right now.
And just in case you’re late to the party…

Inspiration – Pendulum
Jun 16th
Pendulum has recently exploded on the dance music scene with their latest album, Immersion.
Their general aesthetic is quite beautiful. From the album covers to the music videos, they have a very beautiful visual look to match their music.
Here is the single, “Watercolour”
A few more 1 minute samples from the album… this one featuring In Flames:
And my favorite song on the album, Immunize. Featuring Liam Howlett of The Prodigy:
The energy of their music is incredible and the visual style of the band is quite modern and impressive.

Artists Against Abuse
Feb 13th
Artists Against Abuse is a new artists union I fully support. Please read about this cause and if you believe in it, support it.
Artists Against Abuse(3A) is an artists union dedicated to help eradicate violence against women and children. Additionally, as a community, we provide support to each other through both life and artistic trials and successes.
We work to accomplish this mission through:
- Exhibitions and Events of the arts
- Co-operation and support of established agencies that work within the cause
- Providing information and/or access to information about abuse and its effects
- Providing community to those who have suffered abuse or witnessed its effects
“Together We Stand, and Together, We are Not Alone”
