We had our first BYOB painting class at the Art Lair, Wednesday, June 20. What a blast! Doesn’t matter if you have never painted, or are a seasoned painter, this is a great way to let off steam and leave class with a painting in hand. All you have to bring is your beverage of choice, everything else is provided. This will be a monthly class, instructed by Regina Halushka, with a new painting every month. Stay tuned for the date and painting for August.

Mosaic Bird Bath
Feb 25th
Can you hear the birds singing as you go out into your yards? With spring in the air, what better time to make a great mosaic bird bath. This workshop is going to be loads of fun! All you have to do is show up , and the NWFLAA will provide everything, including lunch. Do plan on spending most of the day at the Art Lair, we will do the mosaic in the morning and as it dries we will have lunch and then return to grout the piece. I do need to know how many people are interested in taking the workshop, in order to have enough materials for everyone. The bird bath makes a great focal point for any landscape. There is limited space left for the Pinhole Camera Workshop on Saturday, February 26, at the Art Lair. Don’t miss out!
Topics Covered – Construction and operation of a pinhole camera. Developing the black and white film used in the camera. All participants in the workshop will also participate in the Retro Photo gallery show in March. All materials and printing (needed for the show) included in tuition. Tuition – NWFLAA Members $45, Non Members $55

Digital Artist Brandon Pence will be teaching another class on Saturday, February 19th from 10-12 at the new NWFLAA Art Lair in Downtown Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Brandon will walk students through a variety of techniques used in his work.
