Bill Watterson
“As my artist’s statement explains, my work is utterly incomprehensible and therefore full of deep significance.” – Bill Watterson – creator/artist of Calvin and Hobbes

“I clearly miscalculated how popular it would be to show Calvin urinating on a Ford logo.”
Internet Killed the Video Star
Jul 20th
Alright so if you remember about 6 months ago I posted a song from The Limousines. A song called “Very Busy People.”
I molested them through words for quite a long time and now their newest single “Internet Killed the Video Star” is here and guess what? It’s just as awesome as “Very Busy People,” maybe even more so.
This band… pure win. Check this shit out. Right now.
And just in case you’re late to the party…

Combined attendance at the festival is expected to be from 3000 to 5000 people. Extensive advertising will be provided. In addition, flyers will be available for each artist to send to their own mailing list. There will be a required fee for the festival for attendees. It is a suggested $25 donation.

The United Way of Okaloosa & Walton Counties
The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge
Emerald Coastkeepers
The Gulf Restoration Network
The Lake Pontchatrain Basin Foundation
It is suggested, but not required, that each artist donate one piece of art to be auctioned off to help benefit the clean coast clean up fund. Proceeds from the event will be handled by Coastal Accounting & Consulting of Destin, FL.
The entry fee will reserve you a 10 x 10 spot for the all day event. Set up time is between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. All items EXCULDING THE TENT,( Harbor Walk will provide it) needed for display are to be provided by the artist including tables, tents, chairs, signage, labor, etc. Dismantling of displays will be allowed starting at 7 p.m. The show goes on “rain or shine”. There is standard police surveillance of the community, but none that is designated exclusively for the art festival area.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to charge and collect Florida State Sales Tax. Please include with this application a copy of the state required sales tax form. We must have this form on file in order for you to participate in the Clean Coast Music & Arts Festival. A copy of your Sales Tax permit must be displayed in your booth at all times. If you do not have a Florida sales tax number, you can get a one time permit by calling the Florida state service center at 850-872-4165.
Thank you for your interest in sharing your art with our community! We are looking forward to a family-friendly event to help raise the money to keep our coast beautiful.

This is a short video of some of the events surrounding the shoot as well as a short interview with Jenn afterwards.
I don’t have the final pictures from the camera yet, but here is a preview I took with my cell phone:
